Love the retro look. I thought i was back in the day on an old Nintendo. 3 stars. More stars with more excitement.

The graphics are too bad... They makes everything be confuse!

Well it's a retro-inspired pixel game, so it's meant to look the way it does.

Yeah, the pixel graphics are on purpose. You'll have to excuse me if I don't make an entirely new game because you happen to not like pixels. Thanks for the comment, though!

I'd appreciate a little more constructive commenting then. It would really help me out if you could tell me a little more than just that they're bad. Maybe then I can improve them.

The square of pixels are too big, making the graphics be confuse... I know that the objective of this game it's looks "retro" but, more detailed sprites would improve this! I hope this comment can help you. Hugs!

Cool game man. I really hope you are going to continue working on this. This is the kind of game I like ;). WOW You made a day/night cycle! Great. There are a couple of thing to improve though. I know the game is not finished yet so it's just to help you ;)

- First, in the first screen, you used input text objects and not just text objects. Therefore we can modify your instruction text. You don't want that. Use instead text.

- Secondly, the fighting system is quite complicated. In addition, if I hold an arrow key and move at the same time, there is a small moving animation bug. The character moves but there is no animation. Why don't we use just a key to punch, instead of pressing this then, pressing the opposite key...

- Thirdly, there is a small z-index bug in the village map. The house on top on the right. If I try to open the door, the player is hidden by the door. Just change the z-index of the door.

- I kind of agree with KrazyKaos, because the pixels are too big, it's kind of shining on my eyes. If you can reduce the size of pixels, it will be greater.

- will be cool to have some cool rpg music ;)

Hope this helps man. By the way, feel free to try also my game and leave me some comments. I will appreciate. the game is called "This is Cute!". Be sure I will stay tuned. You can make a topic in the forum too, to show your progress.

Thanks for the comments guys. Let me just start off by saying the graphics and fighting controls aren't going to change. I like them. As for the other stuff, I've just made music and put it in, fixed the door bug, made the rest of the insides of the houses, and changed the controls text. I also added dialog, weapons, the first dungeon type area, and lots of other stuff. There will be an updated version when i get a little more done. Thanks for the help!

By the way, glad you noticed the day/night cycle. There are lanterns and other unique time-of-day things now as well.

Pixel art style doesn't bother me too much but sure it could use some refinement (it's not too important at this stage) after you get in all the features, or most of the features, that you want.

There's a bug in the house you start off in where if you go to the top right of the table and you keep pushing left and right and up you eventually fly through the wall and get stuck in the black space outside of the house. Don't know how else to describe it but I can duplicate the bug every single time. Just go to the right wall, push up, when you get under the table mess with the movement a bit pushing left up and/or right until you move up above the table, then push left and youre thrown into the darkness.

Rated it 2 stars for now (it's not as bad as it seems, I'm going off of what they actually say not 2 out of 5, which is "some room for improvement"). If there was a 2.5 I would have given it that instead. It looks promising so keep working on it.

Thanks Seraphyx that's kind of what I needed to hear. I'm not greatly concerned with small bugs yet but I went ahead and fixed the table one you were talking about. I've fixed a lot since this version actually. Also just added quicksand and raised areas. I'll upload the new version soon, it has a LOT of improvements and added features.
