Most of the design of this game is rather sub-standard. While the level generation algorithism is okay, I feel the way the sword is used (bullet behavior?) is really badly designed. The map design itself is also crudely bad, you should at least put some sort of sprited wall border to separate the floors from the black background.

The character himself moves well, but the sword action should be a swipe in my opinion. And I didn't like that the tables moved as though they were on ice. Also the walls are hard to distinguish from the black space.

Well that's the criticism, but with that said I still spent some time playing the game and found myself enjoying it.

Well, must be said the more I played the more I enjoyed myself. The navigation actually got easier too. Though I'd like to see the 'lit' space be brighter to save my poor eyes, they are quite sore.
If this game had some questing it'd be very fun! Though I'd still like things to stop moving like they're on ice.

Thanks so much, Bleak! Funny enough, your brother "Promising" absolutely hated Underhill. Again, thanks for taking the time to play/comment. Things are looking less... grim. No... less dreary. No, not quite the word I'm looking for... Less desolate... No... I just can't think of the adjective...
