The Czar-Orange scheme is pretty nice... colours harmonize well and its pleasing to the eye. The new scheme takes some getting used to. I don't really like it at first glance. It pushes me away. While the posts are still fine to read, none of the other navigation is really very pleasing. The colours for text and links just doesn't pop out... and there are so many different colours, it lacks harmony; like, you just chose random colours for each link type / information object, because you can. The subtle differences aren't very good. Yeah, looking at it now I think you're right. Like I said in the other thread, all I really had to go on was Doppel's signature and my own (poor) memory. I think it did come out a little too olive. It's close, though. And I agree with Rich, the header is a little to dark and drab. I'll change that when I get around to it.

And I'll see if I can find the old Czar Green theme for the previous board version and compare it. i'm actually getting quite used to the saphic theme!

Is it possible to change the name of the green one to "Construct Classic" or something like that? Would be nice as a memory of the old forum

Orange is up, you can change it in your profile settings. I'm working on green right now. About halfway done with the images. (There's a lot more than "about five images," Rich )

It's totally arbitrary. You can't tell what it means at a glance. So I changed it to this in green:
