Author: Dis
Subject: 41840
Posted: 11 May 2013 at 4:17am

Hello everyone,

Here's my current progress: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32903138/Paintz/index.html

Description
Paintz is a 2D sidescroller jumping platformer in which the player's path leaves a trail of paint, each time the player spawns the color of the trail changes. Their interactions with the game world, creates random spats of paint that are painted on a canvas in the background. Once the player has completed a level, the canvas showing the artwork they have creating by their actions will be shown.

Current Issues:
-I'm using TARP to record the trails of paint but haven't been able to find a way to record the random spats of paint at the same time.

-Is their way to display the entire level/layout from a smaller window size after they have completed a level?

Any suggestions and comments, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Edited by Dis - 11 May 2013 at 4:18am

I just navigated over there and I see its starting to get more plays. It was not intended as a game in the beginning. I wanted to throw as much stuff into a file as possible, to see how much it could handle before the frame rate started tanking. Then the game just grew out of it. It was actually able to handle quite a bit more than I expected (for PC).
