As Ashley and others have said, there are a lot of Spammers on the forums. That's why, I think that the Administrators should create a new account type named "Forum Moderator". A Forum Mod can go through, look at Forum posts, and delete posts that break Forum rules. This gives the Admins more time on actually building Construct 2 then having to keep an eye on the Forums. A Forum Mod should also be rewarded with a medal, and maybe 250 reputation. Just an idea, won't get passed though I bet.

Actually, we already do. Anyone with a green name is a forum moderator, and only Ashley and Tom are developers of Construct 2. However, I think most people who are forum moderators ended up helping in the Construct Classic developments.

I'm not sure that actually works - at one point it didn't. @Mipey can you report this post so I can check that? I can't actually report posts.

If any other mods see this post reported before I do, please leave it so I can check it.

Apparently not. Either mods can't have their posts reported, it's not showing up for me because it's my post that was reported, or the post reporting system isn't working.

It turns out I can report posts, just not my own. I'll try it on the next spammer I see and report back here.

I guess that's proof it doesn't work then, because I would think I would have seen a report by now. @Velojet - Sorry. :( Thanks for the effort, though! Just switch to sending us PMs instead.
