Download Construct 2 public preview 26.2[/size:3ktg1z49]
Link to release 26[/size:3ktg1z49] Minor update, mainly to fix the help links to point to a new wiki we set up - now hosted on our server, without ads. Writing a bit on the wiki would be a good way to help the project - but don't forget functionality may change in future releases! If you haven't read it yet, don't forget to read Welcome to the Construct 2 public preview! Changelog[/size:3ktg1z49] - [CHANGE] Help links now redirect to a Scirra.com hosted wiki - [CHANGE] Altered some of the pay-what-you-want wording. - [FIX] The pay-what-you-want bar screwed up other information bars (e.g. inserting Keyboard object). |

Thanks.
Is there a list of priorities, so that we can see what is probably next to be implemented in C2? (for example: physics-object: high or low priority on the to-do-list?) |

There isn't an official list, but private variables and the image editor seem to be the most sorely missed. What do you think should be next? I'm open to everyone's feedback on this. Tell me what you need most.

Variables and animations. Those two alone will open up a wealth of possibilities.

Do we have alpha support yet?
Um yeah image editor is a biggie. Some kind of data storage plug, I'm guessing array is the most versatile. But that brings up an issue. How do you incorporate external storage types into a web app? Also the old system expressions, distance(), lerp(), etc, but the UI for those should probably come first. |

Use a program other than MS Paint by setting the default tool for PNG's to something else (Like Paint.net) |

Couldn't agree more. The images can be edited in another software, like PS, Paint or something else. The image points will be missed though... |

This is what I mean by biggie, as the old editor was integral to animations, image points, collision masks, etc.

I second custom movement - that would basically get a bunch of other behaviors at once.
