I've learned my skills through schools, tutorials, and a lot of trying and failing:)
My main tools are: Softimage, Photoline, 3D-Coat and Anime Studio Pro.

amazing work. Something I only dream of creating, especially the towns/ houses etc.
Love how they are set out, with the cliff backdrop, and how you can see the detail of every building.
The old/ rustic style are my favourite.
Trying to capture the same in my game, but new to this and its taking its time.
your work is inspiring and beautiful..
