Yes and no. It is but after a while it is very hard to find all the games and projects. Ning web should make it more structured. It's just additional thing not a replacement to forum.

I like you idea here,
but it would be a lot easier to just have a thread hosted by an mod with a nice list of projects.

True, but than, it will be very hard to edit it when something change. On ning page you have your account and you can add new games and edit them whenever you want. Moderator could maybe start new thread with iframe on it from game section, that could work... I think .

Editing a thread would be pretty simple actually,
and In my opinion,
I don't think registering to another site sounds fun at all.

It's up to you. I'm not forcing anyone. Anyone who like the idea will sign up, if not than you have free will to start this thread, which is a good idea if it will be controlled.
