I just gave some of the tests another go with Firefox 4.0 Beta 12 and it seems like the framerate has improved a fair bit. Hopefully when the official release of 4.0 is ready it will at least match Chrome's performance.

The last report I read put Firefox 4 fastest, IE9 second and Chrome third, but all with comparable performance (all fast and hardware accelerated). Looks like soon enough the big three will all be super fast for HTML5.

well my own test got IE9 being the fastest, Chrome second, and Firefox 4 third.

And they'll only get better & faster (with better hardware being more represented over time), so with time Construct 2 HTML5 can only become more powerful.

Control ship with mouse movement.
Destroy the yellow aliens.
Sounds play ok in Chrome.
The sounds must be in the same folder as the index.html file.
46 fps

@chrisbrobs, cool game! I think you can just upload all the files to dropbox though, and people can play it directly in their browser without downloading/having to have WinRAR. That's what other people seem to have done, anyway.

Thanks Ashley, will try that on next upload.

Am i right in thinking the game 'files' will have to be in a single folder, with just a link to the 'index.Html' posted ? :oops:
