I think that, for every sound that plays, you might want to give it a unique tag and add a "Stop [insert said tag here]" before it to prevent things from getting super loud when you fire a lot (I'd recommend using functions to easily keep the same settings if several events can produce a particular sound, for example).
One last thing, I think you should add the arrow keys as a control option. WASD is almost impossible to work with on european keyboards since W is at the vey bottom
