THIS VERSION OF THE GAME IS PC ONLY. I WILL WORK ON A "LITE" MOBILE VERSION AFTER I COMPLETE THE PC VERSION. -THANK YOU :)

I would advise clearing out your (Browser History "cached image files") if you have played this game in the past. When I upload a new version it will still play the old one if you don't do this or the game screen will stay black.

    Hi Booglymonster.

    The lag comes from the amount of enemies on screen. Depending on the users graphics card the game could run slow or smooth. I'll have to definitely play with a cap of enemies that can spawn to keep a smooth frame-rate for all types of PC's high or low end.

    I've been debating on whether or not to make this a mobile game. If put on mobile the game will have to have even less enemies on screen. Mobility will be limited to touch screen buttons which wont feel as responsive. But ill definitely venture into mobile one way or another! :)

    Really good, but the high scores jump around and make it almost impossible to leave comments on the Arcade. To help the game run at low framerates, I might suggest using the event:
    On start of layout: set minimum framerate to x,
    where x is 1.5 times a bullet's length divided by its speed. That should make sure the game runs as fast as possible without missing collisions when there's a lot of enemies on-screen (SOME hits to the player may not register, but he needs all the help he can get!).
    Otherwise, it's just perfect.

    I have no idea why the leaderboard jumps around. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. I have it set in my code to trigger once while players health is less or equal to zero. Other than that no clue. It might be the site or that a lot of people are playing and dying at the same time but i am sure that's unlikely. :/

    Thanks for responding. I actually made a mistake on the equation. It should be minumum framerate = safetyFactor*bulletSpeed/bulletWidth, where the safety factor is some number more than 1, but I did a practice problem, and it would actually hold a pretty high minimum framerate and probably make the game laggier. The way I ran it, you would need a 16-pixel-wide bullet moving around 200 pixels per second to make sure it won't miss collisions at 15 fps.

    I like the story idea
    I also think calebbennettes math is A little off
    I bealeve that it would be 18 pixels wide and 220 pixels per second,
    Then again I am probably wrong.
    I also think a good up grade would be A.B.U( anti bacteria unit) which is a little robot that follows you around and kills bacteria.
    Hope this helps.

    I was planning on making the center purple orbs of the bacteria something they drop when killed and the player can collect them as currency. You can then activate White blood cell turrets and traps to help you fight against the bacteria. Additionally I might make it to were you can use them to also purchase character skins. What do you think?
