Game Instructions

W[k/] To jump
S[k/] To crouch, use this to make green blocks solid. Perfect cover.
A[k/] and D[k/] To move throughout the level. (Yes, There is only one.)
Don't fall in lava or get shot too much, the consequences should appear obvious.
Remember that crouching limits your jump height by 1/3rd.
You have beaten the level when you find the room with "Rise From Scraps - Alpha 1.0.5" in it.

Standard 2D platform shooter with Psuedo 3D graphics. Decent music and sounds.
(I made them so hopefully it doesn't suck too much.)

Update 1.1.1 notes - Leaderboards

*Leaderboards now work, try to beat the level as quick as possible to make it to the top!

Update 1.1.0 Notes - BOOMSTICK!
This update is very exciting!
*Added Shotgun weapon for player and enemies.
*Added crude enemy "AI", they will now dodge your bullets.
*Slightly extended level and changed certain existing sections.
*Slightly improved some graphics.
This update keeps the 3D style, unfortunately I haven't finished the sprites for non 3D game play. Eventually you will be able to choose from either.

    I am currently working on a new version with improved movement and a genuine first level. I realize the "platforming" is pretty unfair. I will soon be getting new art assets as well to make the levels more thematic.

    - Additional notes -
    *The new name is "Rise from scraps"
    *I am working on a new enemy type that deals damage at short range.
    *I am working on fixing the bug where uncrouching while under blocks gets you stuck.
    *Considering ways to implement custom controls. (This will happen eventually)
    *Adding a pause menu, this will have sound options, control customization, save slots.

    I will play it when it comes out because I that sounds like it will be a fun a 2D shooter, and I wouldn’t try to make it 3D because for some reason they are really buggy and don’t look very good.

    They're really buggy because most are left underdeveloped, I have been working on fixing many bugs and issues with game play so hopefully this won't be an problem for too much longer. I am also considering making 3D backgrounds for the levels and just ditch the shadow light method. All will be sorted out in the coming months. Thank you for the feedback! :)

    I really appreciate the feedback, and just as I have previously mentioned I am considering different methods to create 3D effects. I have officially decided it will removed eventually. I will be spending money to increase the quality of the game, including graphics design. I am not a really talented artist but I will be contacting many Fiverr freelance artists to ramp up the graphic appeal to the game. I have been really enjoying the development of this little doodad, so expect more features and optimizing! :)
