Game Instructions

UPDATE: I have added a Simpson's Fan Game to try. I tweaked the controls and eliminated the ball jiggle and gave the ball some grit for more finite aim control.

I am working on a mobile version and the editor is still a work in progress.

Press blue MENU key to see all new playfields available.

Leaderboards now go to separate games

Left and Right Arrow Keys Control Flippers or Left Shift and Control Keys
Down Arrow Key Sends the Ball
S Key or Click on Start button Restarts Game
ENTER key to save score to leader board when Game Over

Space Bar Bumps pinball Machine Up.
C Key Bumps it Left
M Key Bumps it right

    I fixed the flipper issues I hope!

    Now to make the plunger work so it is accurate and controls the ball speed like in the real pinball.

    UPDATE: Flipper issues fixed and variable speed ball plunger now installed. Use the red dot and you can lay the ball in slow and gentle or hard and fast. Also fixed targets and added a kicker hole for an extra ball.

    very well made tempalte, however the C2 physics is not going to be accurate no matter the collision boxes designed or other, it is something related to the angular damping and linear damping that makes the angle of ball movement instead of taking a slowly same angular movement decrease to a straight line which causes a lot of issues. i might submit a bug report on this, cause it doesn't react normal. till then any physics template/game wont be as accurate as we expect.
    P.S physics step iteration is also weirdly working, which causes the ball to pass trough at high speeds(higher then 50px)

    Thanks! I fixed that problem by adding in the Angular Velocity to the events. That slows down the flipper just enough to recognize collisions. Also add a slight Elasticity to objects that throw the ball at a direct angle at the flippers helps with collision detection.

    Physics on a computer is never going to be exactly as it is in real life because the computer is busy off thinking about many things to do and that is not necessary in real life but I think I came dang close with this game.

    This is a good attempt at making a Pinball game. There is need for re-evaluations of the methodologies used to improve the collisions between ball and flippers especially. Admitted that digital collisions cannot match the real world physics, at least at this stage, @lamar keep going with your project.

    I am still working on the editor and adding new assets and working on bugs. This is a work in progress and just to demonstrate the physics and get feedback.

    UPDATE: I tweaked the flippers to end slip through and fixed ball count. I THINK I finally got the flipper physics solved. You can balance that ball on the end of the flipper now lol!

    Added a bonus target and bonus of 10K if you can hit the ball kicker at the top of the ramp while arrow is flashing. That is a tough shot!

    @lamar. I'm not always able to hit the ball with the plunger successfully. Not sure if it's a collision polygon problem or not. Maybe, you can solve that in your next update. Enjoying and loving it.

    Thanks- The plunger only works when a ball is in position to be sent. It is variable speed so you need to pull back to increase ball speed. The red laser dot indicates speed. I will look at it.
