Pushing up Daisy

left arrow key to walk left
right to walk right
up to jump, enter dirt hole
down to pickup/drop/use objects

This is my submission to the underground jam. When thinking about what to make, I thought about how to use the theme creatively. The main mechanic in the game is to push up daisies from under the ground.
Make your way to the top to reach the end game sequence.

All the graphics, design and programming were created by me, Alex Hanson-White.
The music is by Asylum Laboratory - http://sampleswap.org/artist/MrMaunus

Good graphics and sounds and love the mouse character. The game requires you to go back to reset flowers and mushrooms and that can be frustrating. I gave up after 3 tries trying to get a flower positioned right to jump up to the next level. Maybe reconsider and have the flowers rise to where you need them. Just a thought and I give it a 3.

By the way your title should probably read pushing up "daisies" but that actually refers to being dead and buried so not sure if that is what you want for a cute game.

Very well made! Other than the responsiveness of controls, physics, and animations being a bit slower than they should be, the well-created 2D graphics, perfect choice of sounds, and cute feels behind the game are a solid 9/10!
