Wait for signal
The System object has long had a handy Wait action that pauses the event, waits for a time delay, then carries on running the rest of the event with the same objects picked. It's worth noting a common source of confusion: the rest of the events carry on running, so an alternative name could be "schedule to run after..." You can revise how it works in the tutorial How to use the system 'Wait' action.
Now there's also a Wait for signal alternative. Instead of waiting for a time delay, this waits until you use the Signal action. For example if you have an event that does Signal "Enter" when the Enter key is pressed, then Wait for signal "Enter" will wait until you next press Enter. This provides a useful alternative way to schedule events beyond simply waiting for time delays: you can make events wait until a meaningful event happens in the game.
