Stable update r178 adds new features, performance optimisations, and bug fixes over r173, covering a total of 58 changes. For full details see the intervening changelogs:

  • r174 (16 changes): new File Chooser plugin, support for some touch gestures, new Preview Effects project property, improved PhoneGap export
  • r175 (16 changes): support for reimporting images from original paths, new Preload sounds project property
  • r176 (11 changes): bug fixes and tweaks
  • r177 (9 changes): new Wait for signal action, new Go to next/previous layout system action, node-webkit updated

Audio: the Volume, Duration and PlaybackTime expressions now prioritise playing tracks if multiple tracks exist with the same tag. Previously it would always return the first track ever played with that tag, even if it was stopped and another track was currently playing with the same tag.
