Update 18:00 GMT: we patched a last-minute issue that could affect preview mode and export. If you downloaded r248 before seeing this message, please download and re-install it again to ensure this issue is fixed.

In this build we have a last few bug fixes before a stable release. It's been a few months since our last stable update and we're keen to get another one out soon. Providing these fixes do not cause any unexpected issues we should be able to have it out in a couple of weeks.

Some users with huge Construct 2 projects, using thousands of images, may have had trouble previewing their project. We've adjusted the way loading is scheduled to work around this problem - you should now be able to successfully preview even the very biggest projects ever made with C2. We've also updated the Video plugin to work with iOS 11, using the same fix we first made to Construct 3. This also means as a nice side effect we no longer need to run a HTTP server in Cordova iOS WKWebView exports, which helps simplify the code, reduce the IPA size, and probably works around a few bugs where the HTTP server could not start for some reason. Finally we fixed a few issues with the Audio plugin and the 8 direction behavior.

Hopefully everything will work smoothly - if not please let us know by filing an issue in the Bugs forum following all the guidelines. Providing there are no major new issues we hope to bring you a new stable update soon!

Crash !
---------------------------
Construct 2 Check failure
---------------------------
Check failure! This is probably a bug:

Could not find object's combo property index

Condition: index >= 0
File: Projects\ObjectInstance.cpp
Line: 702
Function: class cr::pod<class std::vector<struct era::InstanceProperty,class std::allocator<struct era::InstanceProperty> > > __cdecl ObjectInstanceERACallback::GetProperties(void) const
Build: release 248 (64-bit) checked
Component: Construct 2 IDE
(Last Win32 error: 0)

---------------------------
Abandonner Recommencer Ignorer
---------------------------

Abandonner = fatal crash ! app exit

Recommencer = Then works without problems. The message does not reappear anymore, except every time I restart Construct.

Ignorer = The error message reappears 3 times then it works again. But the message reappears every time I run a test.

Is it possible to save under an old version? Because this kind of problem can become very annoying.
