This is the third release in the space of a week. While we do have a habit of releasing often, this is a bit unusual - the second two of the three have been really necessary to fix some important bugs that have come up. Hopefully though those bugs are now blatted! We're sorry if you're on a slow connection and this annoys you, but unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about that (don't forget if we did an auto-updater it's not going to speed up your internet so would still take about the same amount of time). If it's a problem, I suggest only upgrading once every 2-4 weeks, or whatever suits you. Still, we like users trying the latest builds to make sure we find any bugs and issues.

Don't forget we're away from 1st to 8th October. So, at least no more releases during that time! :)

P.s. Tom did a cool new video showing off how you can get Physics going in 60 seconds. Would be much appreciated if you could tweet/share that, we think it's pretty cool :)

Sprite: ImageWidth and ImageHeight expressions (formerly 'OriginalWidth' and 'OriginalHeight' in Classic). Returns the size of the animation frame image, regardless of if the object has been resized.

Removed the Pathfinder behavior from inclusion with the installer. It was included by accident! You'll need to add it from that link to use it.

Bug Fix

Animation frames could go missing when saving a project

Bug Fix

Image editor: mirroring or flipping would make Physics' collision mask stop working

Bug Fix

Collision masks should now work with auto-mirror and auto-flip.

Bug Fix

Properties bar: sometimes editing a combo property would blank out the combo and cause an error next time you previewed. This appears to be a bug in the UI library, but I've managed to partially work around it: the combo still *appears* to blank out, but the correct value is set (if you re-select the objects you'll see). This also prevents the error when you preview.

More garbage collection (GC) optimisations. Performance should be better especially in Firefox. I'm running out of ideas to improve the GC performance, so I think it's getting to the point where the browsers will need to improve their collectors. Firefox has improvements planned for the next few months so performance should gradually improve over time anyway. Keep your browsers up to date!

This doesn't work in Linux under Wine. :( Could you please port it to Linux or make it compatible with Wine?

I don't think that's top priority now. They're mostly focusing on adding more features as far as I know!

Yea I think they want to finish up the features for the HTML 5 version before they start making new exporters.
