Nothing major this build, mainly a series of smaller things which should generally improve usability and alleviate some annoyances that had been noted on the forum. We're well aware of the need for the Families system now so that's definitely next up (for real this time). This is a lot of work so there may be a long gap with no new releases at some point, depending on where it fits in to the schedule.

Tom's been steadily improving the Arcade since its release - you can now embed games using a little code on the game page. Now you can share games on your own websites! Have a go and see how it works for you!

Exporting to the arcade can now identify if your project uses plugins or behaviors that are not supported

Add

'Submit to Scirra Arcade' button after exporting for Arcade

Add

Projects now track which plugins and behaviors they use, and Construct 2 uses this to give you a better error message if you open a project which uses plugins or behaviors you don't have.

'Jump-thru' behavior: the Platform behavior can jump on to these objects from underneath. (A new example 'Platform 9 (jump-thru)' has been added demoing this.)

'Set enabled/disabled' for 8 Direction, Bullet, Car, Custom movement and Platform.

Instance variable comments are now shown in the properties bar description box

New keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Tab, which switches between event sheet and layout like Ctrl+L and Ctrl+E, but is a bit easier to reach.

Sprite: 'Is mirrored' and 'Is flipped' conditions

Common condition: 'Is on layer'

'Add another variable' in right-click menu for event variables

By default event variables add to the top of the sheet instead of the bottom

Global arrays are now always created on startup. Previously they did not exist (and therefore reads and writes failed) until you visited the layout you placed it on.

'Is on screen' is now true even if the object is invisible

Random() expression sometimes rejected global variables

Event sheet: long expressions in conditions should now wrap better (some expressions could occasionally go past the right edge of the condition)

Editing an inverted condition no longer removes the invert

Deleting sound or music files no longer annoyingly scrolls to the top of the project bar

SDK

All plugins and behaviors should now use a 'version' setting in edittime.js (see built-in ones for example). Plugin and behavior developers should keep this up to date when making changes - it's now used to check projects are compatible with the installed plugins and behaviors when opening, and they will shortly be used to check that compatible versions are used with the Arcade.

..oh Por cierto tenia la version r69, it update automatic? or I need to download again this new version?. y si compro la licencia tengo que hacer asi cada rato de bajar los nuevos rxx? o se actualiza automaticamente?

Great job guys! Tom the arcade is looking real nice, I really like the generated copy, and past code for embedding, games into our own websites :) I don't mind if there is a long gap for the families update. Everything is working great now so take your time maybe even try sleeping some time. lol Thanks for the great product, and community guys your doing an incredible job :)
