Hi

I want to start working on a PC game but I have a question about resolution:
Should I make the game based on 1080p, or 720p with 2x size scripts?

Thank you

yeah i have read that before, but my question is not related to that article.
The thing is I want to make my game native 1080p but I'm afraid people with lower resolutions would have problem running the game, because downscaling would put pressure on the device.
but I don't know if my logic is right or not so I'm asking if i have to make my game 1080p or 720p with 2x scripts size.

Thank you

Scaling is not usually a big consideration in terms of performance. Graphics memory limitations are generally the greater concern. If yor game can afford the memory footprint of higher resolution graphics, go for it!

As always, best to check and confirm your output looks as desired on all platforms you are targeting.
