Hey tulamide,

I really like the water effect in the fluid2.cap and I'm trying to use it in my game.

I've copied the objects, events and layer settings, but it doesn't work. What else do I have to do to get this to work?

Thanks in advance!

you need an effect like colorize (or whatever was used on the layer in this cap), on a layer, with the objects on that layer being sprites which are a circular alpha gradient.

I've used a special effect I created, called "blob_test.fx", which is more comfortable to use (you can select the alpha threshold and give your liquid an outline).

From an older post:

Just download "fluid.rar" from my third post in this thread. It contains the effect blob_test.fx
Copy it to Construct's effect folder.[/quote:30tcc91j]

I copied the blob_test.fx and the fluid2.cap works. But I can't get it to work in my own .cap file..

You could post your cap (or send a link by pm), I will have a look then. Hopefully it's just something simple :)
