I created a great game in the classic construct with 3DBox objects. I wish the c2 that support this object.

If C2 at least supported texture mapping polygons, or at the very least, reshaping texture squares into polygonal shapes, you could at least pull off some cool effects - not sure the limitations of that on canvas, but it would be cool. ;)JoyfulDreamer2013-04-24 20:48:18

Yeah I miss the distorted sprites we had in CC. They were fun to play around with. I've hinted now and then but to no avail ;p

Then I can update my 3D game example in the arcade. LOL. ;)

These depend on a 3D renderer, which you only get in WebGL. So it won't yet run everywhere. It's on the todo list, but it's likely to be a low priority for a while. Broader WebGL support would be a good motivator. I'm surprised to see that apparently not many games use WebGL shaders, presumably because of the patchy support, and they were very difficult to implement, so I don't want to do lots of hard work for a feature that isn't used much again.

@Ashley Nice! Also don't forget Internet Explorer 11 and CocoonJS 3D will support WebGL, it's still growing up.
