64-Bit Browsers and Performance

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I saw recently that there is actually a stable version of Chrome in it's 64-bit iteration coming out soon.

Will we see any performance boost on desktops, phones, etc with this? Pardon my ignorance of these things!

I was very interested to see this too, but I couldn't measure any performance difference with the 64-bit version - looks to be identical to the 32-bit one in speed. However some logic-intense games may benefit, and it's also big news for anyone with loads of tabs open and using lots of memory, since it can now take advantage of all memory.

Internet Explorer also has a 64-bit version.

I think memory intensive games will have the best performance.

Though there might be something wrong if your game requires more than 4 GB.
