For questions about using Classic.

Is it possible to make game for 2 players with 8 direction behavior (for each separate controls)? If not will it be possible?

It is possible. However you might want to make your own 8dir system the default one, wil work but for only one player. The idea is very simple actually so it won't be too hard to replicate it using event sheets.

Default one has nice smooth turns and good acceleration control. I wont be able to do it so nicely :)

I'd wait for the next release, which will feature a new control system.

The new control system should make it possible, but it's not too hard to reproduce with events.

Can't you just disable the default control system then bind the keys manually through events ?

To let your sprite walk around, does it require editing/tweaking to an older Construct-project when the new control system is implemented, or is it added next to the already existing 8dir-control behaviour?

You'll add controls for multiple players, then select which set behaviors use.
