The Internet Arcade is a web-based library of arcade (coin-operated) video games from the 1970s through to the 1990s, emulated in JSMAME, part of the JSMESS software package. Containing hundreds of games ranging through many different genres and styles, the Arcade provides research, comparison, and entertainment in the realm of the Video Game Arcade.

Lots of great inspiration!

Very cool. I have the mame collection on my laptop already, but this is a good resource when I don't have it :).

I am not sure.. it seems they are providing said games (clicked on one to see, it did not loaded since I was not on a computer so maybe I am completely wrong), but I wonder if that would be considered legal in all countries (some countries requires a large time for a ressource to fall in the public domain), not that anyone other than me would actually care really, but I want to know if they have the regarding authorisations to do this for the games that may need it.(I did not see it, maybe I am blind).

Just me having, you know, my problem of "being too much picky" sometimes.
Game design is all about decomposing the core of your game so it becomes simple instructions.

Well, maybe it's not about the countries that are accessing the content, but where the content comes from / where it's hosted?

Not sure either... more info here I think : https://archive.org/about/

In the end... Quite honestly, I won't complain :)
