  • This topic does not contain any creations, but i posted it here since hopefully it will soon!

I would really like a big fat flashy scirra logo on my desktop, but I'm not really capable of creating one on my own. But from what I've seen here some of you could easily throw something nice together in no time!

someone interested in giving it a shot?

  • Sounds like a plan. Any colour scheme you want?

  • Try Construct 3

  • I dunno.. maybe you can try the one in my avatar Mostly greyscale, but with a few things colored usually looks good i think! But feel free to do whatever you want! I'm looking forward to see your creations!

  • Heres a scirra logo I did back in the day...except I tried to add a little texture to it so it wasn't straight out black and white...but that at least gives you guys the shape of it

  • That small tooth on the cog still looks funny

Someone needs to redo the logo for the site as well... someone... oh who will do it?

  • Here's a screenshot of an animated shader effect I was playing with. Maybe it fits the bill?

  • Not sure what resolution you wanted, so I took a guess and made one at 1024x768. If you want is a different size just let me know and I will adjust it properly.

SoldJah could you make it 1600x1200?

  • Wow! those are both really hot! I'll see how they look as backround to my desktop!

What's the name of the font you used?

  • It's based on David's logo - he'd have to say!

  • I know what font it is, because I am the master of fonts...

The standard logo on the website banner (If you use Czar Orange anyway) is Trebuchet MS, and the one in the logo that Ash and I both posted is, ummmm ... bolloks, I don't have it on this PC and I can't remember now. PSD file is on home laptop xD It looks kinda like Tw Cen MT, but not quite the same.

Oh well, semi master of fonts then!

    *EDIT*

Oh and, the "A" on the end is edited to look like that, unless he used a modified version of the same font...

    *DOUBLE EDIT*

SoldJah could you make it 1600x1200?

Yep, I sure can. I'll do that when I get home tonight since I fail at remembering to put things on my flash drive. I don't get home for like another 12 hours, but I will do it!

    *TRIPLE EDIT*

Wow doin' well today so far.... Dave, if you want my "fixed" cog then let me know, I redesigned it last night so the teeth were all closer to the same size lol I have it in PSD format and it's larger than any of the logos for the website so it will be easy to shrink/modify/whatever.

That much I know, I used it to make the Czar Green theme

Anyway, it looks like it's a modified version of Century Gothic:
