Across two numbers

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat Jan 25, 2014 12:33 pm

i need event that gives specific text by number of points player has. Like prefix.

what i tried=
points=1-10 -> set text "n00b"

of course it was "one minus ten"

in maths it's something like =0...10 but in constructor, that seems to not work.

so how do i do that? Jabutosama2014-01-25 12:36:55

You need to use the condition Is between values.

easiest way I can think off is

Text="awesome"
score<400 text="Good"
score<300 text="not bad"
score<200 text="bad"
score<50 text="Mostly Harmless"
score<10 text"something witty"
score<5 text="quite derogatory"

You could just split it up:

points > 0
points < 11
- set text

or try if this works:

system compare two values: 0<points<11 = 1
- set text
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

a quick function to do this

score comments function

Just thought the string of comments and relevant scores could always be passed to the function as parameters... RamPackWobble2014-01-25 14:06:55
