Add a confirmation box to this "x" button in future build!

New releases and general discussions.

This X button will not ask you if you want to save when you click it, it just automatically will close whatever project your working on. I accidentally clicked this and lost 4 hours of work :(

I know i should of saved more often but I got really into my game-making and lost track of time.

Might also be a good idea to implement an Auto-Save x minutes feature like is seen in Hammer.

when I click that X button on mine it doesn't close my project, it only closes the current editor I have open, it still shows my game on the project tab

Why isn't autosave enabled by default?

L5j is right, the little X only closes the current editor. It never closes the project. It's possible to have no editor windows open but the project bar still shows the project, because it is still open. When you close Construct itself, it then prompts you to save!

Actually, if you only edit an event sheet then close construct, it does not ask if you want it to save.
