Hi !
First of all, great job ! It's so nice to see Construct working at last on a mac !
Chrome for OS X doesn't support the following :
We'd like to point out one especially useful feature of Chrome that makes it easier to use Construct 3: in the Chrome menu, try selecting More tools → Add to desktop (or Add to shelf on Chrome OS, or Add to homescreen on mobile).

Is this function useful for a cleaner work area (so this is not so problematic since os x allows fullscreen) or is it also what allows offline use of Construct ?

Huh, you're right, it's missing on Mac. Did not realise it wasn't there!

I filed a Chrome bug, we'll follow up there: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=706439

The 'add to desktop' only affects the UI, it's not necessary for offline use.

You should be able to create a new shortcut manually for chrome, then add ' --app=http://editor.construct.net'

https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-create-desktop-shortcuts-for-apps-in-mac-os-x/

Then edit the alias? Should look something like this.
/Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --app=http://editor.construct.net

@Ashley I don't think it's a chrome issue though. I think it's Mac not allowing this.

Updated my thread on how to run C3 in fullscreen on mac. You have to make a script using script editor.
