Adding Leaderboards

Get help using Construct 2

Hello Eevryone ,

I'm just searching for a tutorial on how to add leaderboards to your game ... Not clay.IO , Leaderboards that doesn't need you to like connect to an account or something ...

It would be awesome if one of you could just like refer me to a nice little tutorial !

Thanks a lot

@InvaderX the first statement in there is this plugin is no longer supported, so use clay.io But he doesn't want clay.io

The problem with leaderboards is that you need some sort of backend to handle them. Most people use a plugin like clay.io so that they don't have access to their own server, php scripts and a database.

If you have a server, and have access to use php and something like MySQL I could give you some pointers on how to accomplish this, but it's beyond the scope of Construct 2 to handle this by itself.

You got it. I'll write up a tutorial and get a capx and demo read. I'll post a link when I'm done.

Thanks , @theubie , but could you just distribute the source code to one of your projects ? I'll just learn from what you did
