Aligning the animation correctly

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Mar 13, 2012 1:07 pm

I have a problem where the alignement of the enemy animation is weird. Every enemy is coming from each side of the window, for example, every enemy coming from the left-side of the window should have an animation of an enemy running to the right side. But this doesnt work, this is how it looks.

And I only have about 6-7 events left to use since im using the free version.

Have tried changing the hotspot, the problem is that it move forward along the angle, and the angle is following the player+random. Have tried chaning the hotspot, doesnt work. Do i have to do the whole enemie-thing over?

What sort of behaviour do you have on the enemies? Or, if you want, you can post the .capx here, and I'll have a look.Nimtrix2012-03-13 14:37:19

Go into your Edit Animations panel, choose the particular animations that are giving you problems, and use the Rotate 90 Degrees button until it's set up right.

Depending on how your sprite sheet was laid out and how many directions you worked with/cut into, you'll need to rotate up to 2 clicks on some sprites, but only once on the other ones.

Sorry, your file uses plugins, so I can't open it. But if you use the bullet behaviour, you should do as Nochek says and make sure your sprites are aligned with the objects angle.

If you export your game to your dropbox public folder, you can right click the index.html file and select "copy public link" and paste it here. That would be the easiest way to share your game.
