Get help using Construct 2

Ammo Based Weapon and Ammo pickup system

I want my weapon to not be able to fire unless has ammo gathered from an object pickup.

I figure it might have something to do with variables either local or global and smoe math other then that my attempts have FAILed me.

any help would be glorious.

You will need to use Global I believe. But the rest I have no idea, sorry
