Problem Description
The Anchor behaviour doesn't work correctly with scaled layouts

Attach a Capx
anchor_bug.capx

Description of Capx
When the layout is scaled up, the anchor behaviour still works as if it was in a 1x scale

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Make a new project. Set fullscreen to Crop. Set the window size to twice the size of your layout. Make your layer's parallax 0,0.
  • Add the Anchor behaviour to any object and set the right edge and bottom edge properties. At first it scales properly
  • With events, make the layout scale 2. The object won't scale properly now

Observed Result
The Anchor doesn't scale the object accordingly to the layout's scale

Expected Result
That the 2x scaling is applied to the behaviour

Closing as not a bug. The layout is about a quarter of the size of the viewport. Make the viewport size the same as the layout size and enable unbounded scrolling and it appears to work.

@Ashley This worked, thanks. Also had to set some of the objects Anchor's "Left edge" property to "window right" and I wasn't quite understanding how it worked.
Maybe there could be mention of how "Unbounded Scrolling" affects the Anchor behavior in the manual too? I would have never thought of changing it

I know that this is a closed bug report but I wanted t know, how do you change the viewport size to the same as the layout size?

@chadorireborn
As it says in the sticky, please don't reply to closed bug reports - especially those this old.

Please use the correct section to ask your questions, which in this case is the 'How Do I' section.
If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.
