Android games are not performing well

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Thu Dec 24, 2015 8:59 am

Hey guys,

I am new to game development and construct 2 in general and I decided to purchase the personal license because I found it really excited.
I have created a very simple flappy bird game and I've used XDK to emulate, test and create the app.
The app works really well on the emulator but once it is installed on my phone, the touch is not good, while the frames drop every time. Basically the performance is not good. Does anyone know why can this happens?

I have also used some fonts within then game but when the app is built the fonts become really small and not the ones which I have used.

Can anyone help me with this?

Agree, maybe your phone is very old and andriod systems out of date.

XDK performance has always been poor after export as far as I've seen except for this version which still has orientation and audio problems: http://www.mrchay.com/projects/HTML5toAPK

I've had much better luck with cocoon.io though it can take some time to learn how to export properly. http://cocoon.io/
