animation problem

For questions about using Classic.

Hello people,

Just doing a little test. But the animation isn't stopping when the character isn't moving.

I'm sure I've done it this way before and it worked fine. Have I gone crazy?

Thanks in advance

You've added 'Walking' as a sub-animation to the 'Standing' animation. You should have it as a separate animation, then it works fine.

Alternatively, get rid of the animating events and set the 'Standing' tag to 'Stopped', and the 'Walking' tag to 'Walking' (do this in the properties bar when the animation name is selected). Then the grid behavior animates the object for you.

speaking about animations. Is "repeat to" works fine?
Becouse it sometimes work and sometimes. Few days ago i was playing with some animations and just check if in 98.3 it works, and it did! and for that test it saves my day. but yesterday i was doing something diffrent and "repat to" behave like ping-pong.

And one more, sub-animations - what are they for anyway? :D
