animation problems with LoZ/RPG 8 direction movement

Hey dudes, this program is pretty cool. I'm trying to make a LoZ clone where you can move in 8 directions but have 4 facing sprites. The only problem is, you can moon walk! If you press two arrow keys at once and alternate, the character will face the opposite direction that he is going.

I used deadeye's platform school thing as an example (bad idea) for the key presses. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing in that department, so thats most likely where the problem is (animations event sheet).

Uh sorry for the double post, but I'm running into another animation problem. I'm trying to make a solid wall. I get the solid part right, but if you try walking into it, the animation is all glitched up, I tried everything such as resume animation if player is in contact with wall or simply running animation when the player hits wall. All I want to do is have the sprite look like it's running into the wall, like most games.
