animations for tiled backgrounds

I don't know if it's technically possible, but it's something I would like to see. It would be good for animated water tiles, backgrounds, etc.

You can do this already via distortmaps.
Here's a little example using the perlin noise plug.

Its not perfect, we need a tile function for image manipulator for that.

The formula for U, and V that works for me... thus far is:
Lerp(0, tilemapsize, loopindex*0.17)

Note: Your image needs to be power of two.....

Might make up a simpler one later with just regular textures.
