Anyone can suggest good Fonts?

Discussion of tools and resources for game developers

Basically I'm looking for fonts that look good on games if you happen to know any, I want to use them for titles, subtitles, scores, etc. I never seem to be able to find good ones.

Preferably free fonts, but if it's really worth it I might consider other options. Font style doesn't matter, I could a cartoonish look for a more casual style game or a more serious font style for other types of games. Thanks.Xavier2012-10-15 16:13:09

Visitor and Quicksand are two fonts I use frequently.

Dafont is ok, but they have lot of "free" font's that aren't actually free for commercial use or have other hidden fees. I prefer fontsquirrel because you can see the licence right away, and they tell you if they don't know how it is with the current licence.

Thanks, I already knew fontsquirrel but totally forgot about it, I used to use it a lot for the font-face generator.Xavier2012-10-16 20:05:47

Google Web Fonts - "you can use them in every way you want, privately or commercially in print, on your computer, or in your websites."

Also, they are opensource and can be easily used with CSS and C2.DiGiCORE2012-10-17 23:54:51
