Apple iOS 7.1 Update

Just updated to Apple iOS 7.1 on my IPhone 5c. Seems to be and improvement especially with the browser hiding the address bar. It's already reported some Devs are getting a grey bar on landscape games turning to portrait and back again. I use a set of JavaScript's that trigger a window.scrollTo (0,1) event, with a small range of different conditions, and it snaps it back in.

Overall, seems like an improvement.

@TheDom

Do we need to do the "Browser->Request Fullscreen" or is it automatically ?

That setting adds HTML based tags in the index.html which don't apply to IOS. I use an additional JavaScript in the index.html, you can see a tutorial here : https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/877/hiding-the-address-on-mobile-browsers. This only applies if your game is mobile web.

Just to note I noticed yet another Safari on iPhone bug when changing orientation. Sometimes when you go landscape there's a weird grey bar at the bottom of the screen. It seems whenever a new iOS update comes out there's a new viewport bug in Safari. I found a workaround and the next build fixes it.

That's awesome! Using the window.scrollTo (0,1) event in javascript helps but it occasionally hangs, however a reload of the game resets it. I'll be following up on this....

Thanks
