Assigning Effects to Positions

For questions about using Classic.

What I'm trying to accomplish is placing two effects on the back of this ship that I'm going to be using:

Now the effects itself is one sprite. How would you suggest I spawn a second instance of that sprite and place it on the second thruster and keep it attached there?

Use image points, you can have more than one and you can name them too ;)

I'd go with "engine1" and "engine2", then spawn the two sprites at appropriate image points of the ship sprite.

I already have two image points. My question is how do I spawn two of the same sprite in different positions and have them ALWAYS stay relative to those image points.

Basically, you can keep the effects to their ship and relative position with private variables.
