Audio machine gunning ???

Get help using Construct 2

So i got a sprite that has a run animation on 8 direction

a floor panel that lights up when the player is seen with in x amounts of pixel

and same with another bit of scenery

iv applied it so its 'when sprite a is playing animation ''running'' play audio ''running looped''

even tried placing it into the stranded 8 way animation but all sounds is machine-gunning including the sfx for when the panels light up

help please ?

Judging from how you set the conditions, since your animation is constantly playing, it constantly plays the sound. Adding a "trigger once while true" sub-event might help. Unless that isn't the effect you're going for.
I like giving game advice more than I actually like making games ;)
