Auto-Defaulting to 9patch in the dropdown

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Thu Mar 12, 2015 10:37 pm

Wasn't really sure where to put this, because it's not a bug, but if I'm editing an event, and I need to type 9 (for instance, to check if a variable equals nine or set something to 9) and I have a "9patch" object in my game, the dropdown appears and attempts to auto-input "9patch."
When typing sequences of numbers, I can real quick hit 1 [enter] 2 [enter]... etc. but when it comes to 9 it breaks my flow.

This is such a minor thing, but I've been doing a lot with arrays lately and it's making me hate the number nine! haha...

Hit "Esc" or "Left Arrow" or "Right Arrow" (and probably some others too) after pressing 9, it will hide auto-input dropdown.

The point is that I get into a flow and it's breaking my flow and I'm whiny. =P

yeah. But I would rather hit "Esc" and break your workflow than not have auto-completion in C2 at all ;P
