  • My C2 project(capx) is 300 kb

When I export using the Awesomium(r101) the file size is 11.3 meg (exe works ok)

When I export using the Awesomium(r106) the file size is 37.0 meg (exe crashes)

Don't know if this is a bug or I might have missed something in the newer releases?

    XP SP3

    Additional question-

The above events dont work in exported awesonium project? new window doesnt open.

The events work ok when I export the project as HTML5 and run in firefox, but not Chrome.

  • Which file size are you talking about?

Can you share a .capx? Usually it's impossible to do anything about a problem without a .capx file demonstrating the issue, as described in how to report bugs.

  • Try Construct 3

The problem/error occurs with any project(created with R106 )and exported

using the awesomium option....the resulting file size is aprox 31.5 meg.

I did see the following save option window?

  • chrisbrobs - do you mean the data.bin file? Exporting to Awesomium exports several files. I still need a .capx to be able to investigate this further.

  • Here is the Capx_

    link

When I export using Awesonium the folder size is 31.5 meg aprox.

The biggest files in the folder are-

    awesonium.dll   20meg

    and

    icudt.dll 9 meg

    regards

  • chrisbrobs - your example .capx uses third party plugins, please remove them when submitting bug report plugins as per how to report bugs.

Note we recently removed UPX compression on Awesomium's files, which makes the file size larger. It's nothing to worry about since assuming you distribute your exported game compressed, you will get similar file size savings.
