Basic animation not working.

For questions about using Classic.

Hi, everybody. I've been away from Construct for quite a while; working on school, reading, and stuff like that. Now that I started back in sprite animation, I made a sprite for construct, but I seem to be having problems that aren't common in other animations I've tried. After imputing the basic commands for a platforming sidescroller object, I found my character walks in opposite directions when the buttons are pressed, randomly switches between high and low speeds of travel, and occasionally jumps when I can get him to walk straight. He often flips upside down for no reason. I know this isn't an sprite-touching-ground problem as the animation, because the sprite runs fine while it is upside-down. I do not know what to do, even though this seems really simple. Thanks. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.
Here is the .cap link so you can look/modify it and such. No other commands have been configured besides platforming.
