Bastion is released on Chrome web store. Just installed it a runs really smooth. Looks like they are using Native Client.

Hadn't heard of this yet; sounds really awesome. Does Construct 2 output native client when exporting to the chrome store, or plan to support it in the future?

Ah, really nice game. Love the narration. Looks like they're using native client. Construct 2 doesn't support that yet, but it's one of many ideas for the distant future.

@Ashley
Is that needed for in app payments, or would we just need a plug?

No, you don't need native client for that, you can do it in any web page.

Firefox and Opera dudes on the subject of Native Client:
These native apps are just little black boxes in a webpage. [...] We really believe in HTML, and this is where we want to focus.

NaCl seems to be 'yearning for the bad old days, before the web'. Native Client is about building a new platform or porting an old platform into the web [...] it will bring in complexity and security issues, and it will take away focus from the web platform
Yeah, Native Client is Google's version of ActiveX, but actually done securely (so don't get as nervous like you do with ActiveX - Native Client can't actually affect your computer at all). Interesting technology, but still a bit obscure, no idea if it will take off.
