Is there any program that can crop pngs to a circle batch?

This would save me from manually having to do 1000+ images.

Thanks

In construct? But I need to process 1000+ images I can't do it by hand. Is there any way to do it in another program?

What is it exactly that you want to do? Take a bunch of uncropped images, import them into construct and have them be cropped?

If so, then you can use the import images feature to import them all at once, then once they're imported hold Alt and click crop once, which will crop all of the 1000 images in the animation with one click.

No, what I want is to batch crop over 1000 files to a circle. These images are to be external to Construct.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. I don't know a simple way how to do that. If you have a full copy of Photoshop you could use its actions and batch commands, but that's the only way I know of. You might be able to even make an application in construct to do it for you, but I'm not sure about that.

Pretty sure that GIMP can do stuff like that if you don't have Photoshop.

Newt would be the best person to ask about that though, he seems to be the GIMP master.

See wut I did thar?

Actually I dont know of any scripts, or actions for Gimp, or Photoshop that will crop to a specific shape.... unless its rectangular. Same goes for batch actions in Gimp, and GD lib.

Truth is it would be pretty simple to do in Construct using the inverted alpha of your circle as a sprite.
You can apply the erase fx to the sprite then paste the image, with the sprite overlaying it into a canvas. You could then copy from the canvas to the image manipulator, and save it.
Setting up the batch for that should be pretty strait forward.
