The bug reported by @Casimir is due to the fact that two expressions had the same ID in the code, it has been fixed now.

People who don't use the expressions of this plugin will never encounter the bug.

Please download and re-install the plugin to be able to use expressions.

HI! Is it possible to turn off tiledBackground effect? I just want to my sprite had a parallax effect on no parallax layer without any tiling.

At the present moment, the plugin is meant to be used for tiled backgrounds, so no, it is only possible to use it for that effect.

However, I am gathering some ideas for the next update, and I'll add your request to the list. If you can tell me more about your specific use case that would be helpful. I don't get a lot of feedback for this plugin, it would be nice to know how people use it and what is needed.

This is the only plugin that allows adding specific parallax value to sprites on a layer without parallax effect. Of course, I can create a new layer and place my sprite there, but it's really bad idea for huge projects. I don't know, maybe there's another way to give some parallax effect to sprite (not layer).
In my case, I need to add prompts that should have different parallax values and they have to be on one layer.
Hope my English is understandable :)

Thanks for your feedback.

I agree on the limitations of the official parallax effect in Construct for medium or bigger sized projects, one of the reasons I made this plugin was to offer more options than what's available in the engine.

I've been testing some features for a long time now, and I already have an idea on how to include them in the package. The feature you requested is definitely on my todo list. I'll try to release a new version soon.
