Hello. I am trying to learn JavaScript to learn making behaviors in C2 but I am having a hard time learning by using only a notepad. That made me think that for me to learn JavaScript especially for coding games I will need to make games using JavaScript with the guide of an engine. So do you guys know any good user-friendly(visual) web design engine or game engine that uses JavaScript? Thanks in advance.

For me the best Javascript Game Engine, aside from construct, is Phaser. Phaser is more a Framework then a game engine. There is a online code editor, so you can try it out http://phaser.io/learn , but also a tutorial how to get started http://phaser.io/download

@Asmodean - Do you know another one? I really can't start with a framework based game editor. Are there any visual editors with javascript as event editors since learning this will take me very long to understand.

If you want to learn javascript from the scratch is the best to use a Framework, otherwise you lern only how to use this special game engine with javascript as scripting language.
The only other one I tried and I know that uses javascript, is the MightyEditor it's based on Phaser.
It's a online IDE: http://mightyfingers.com/ and there are beginner tutorials http://mightyfingers.com/tutorials/

@Asmodean - I plan to learn a framework based but I just want to take it step-by-step since I am just a beginner in JavaScript and the basics is all that I know. Btw. Thanks MightyEditor seems great. Just what I was looking for.

If you really want to understand JS game development from the inside then my recommendations would be WebStorm IDE (https://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/) + CreateJS library (http://www.createjs.com/).

WebStorm is the best JS IDE you can find and CreateJS is very easy (yet powerful) library for Canvas and WebGL.

But that's not visual. It's pure coding. Easy and pleasent but coding.
