Best car suspension with spring effect and very cool terrain generation.
  • Hi.

I'm curious if anyone knows of any C2 games that looks good. By that i am not referring to pixel art. Smooth animations and decent game play.

I don't have anything against pixel art. I would just like to see anything other than pixel art on C2 games.

  • Angvik

    Mortar Melon

    Search for demos on youtube

  • Airscape

Shards (I think so, anyway, but I'm probably biased ^^)

    The next Penelope

...and some others I'm forgetting at the moment. I've seen a bunch of great of great unnamed stuff in the screenshots thread, too.

  • I think Courier is extremely visually appealing <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz">

  • I am biased, but I think our first game was a great looker. You may notice a tiny bit of stutter in the video, but that was due to running in IE10 last year. With IE11 and full WebGL support it now runs much more smoothly I just haven't bothered to create new videos yet due to other projects taking my time. You can see it here, all animations for the main character were exported from Spriter as frames (spriter and C2 weren't quite as feature rich at that time).

  • I'm developing an interesing game, it will be released in short time, this development has been started since 4 months ago, I will make a thread

  • This is a demo game for my friends school project. I think it looks good. I suggest playing the game with good speakers and use Chrome or FF.

  • You may want to check my graduate project, it's not a game but more than an interactive, visual narration in the form of a platformer.

    Thanks! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":-)" title="Smile"> I think Courier looks nice, too!

Penelope and Airscape are the prettiest to me. Cosmochoria, Shards, Red Riding Hood, Forgotten Legends, Reven, Star Nomad, and Sword 'N' Board all look really nice, too!

The list keeps getting longer and longer as more impressive stuff is made with C2. I do wish there was a better way to showcase these types of projects on the site rather than have them buried in the forum or purely word of mouth. Even a rotating community focus would go a long way and give people something else to strive for.

  • Thanks. Some of those look really good.

Yes i fully agree. The games should be showcased on the website to show to people what the engine can do.

People respond to good looking things. It could be the best game ever but if looks crappy no one is going to pay attention. Well at least not the masses.

Its really hard finding games that were made with C2 that stands out.

A lot of big games don't like to disclose how they were made. In fact you go out of your way to hide that you used xyz - lol.

My vote goes with this as sexiest c2 game

  • Arima these are the famous Greeklish and spy84 is giving me a very touching praise

spy84 Thank you very much for your kind words
