Best Quality/Price laptop to run C2

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Sat Mar 30, 2013 2:47 pm

I'm currently looking for a cheap laptop that can run C2 without issues ...

I'm looking for something between 300/450$ that can do the job

The chromebook seems to fit my needs but I'm not sure about the browser-powered system ... I'll maybe flash the BIOS but well ... I don't know about it

Edit : Oh , wrong section D: , sorry ... @Kyatric , could you move it ?Whiteclaws2013-03-30 14:55:42

Asus and acer are different. I have an acer that I got at costco canada for 500 about 2 years ago. It runs pretty much anything and I haven't had many issues. Maybe I just have a uniquely good experience :)

I'd recommend a real Windows OS, rather than using a VM, to run Construct 2.

I run it on my ASUS G73JW, but it is overkill for COnstruct 2, 8GB DDR3, Core i7, 17inch screen, Video Card with 2GB DDR5.... but it also runs fine on my work laptop which is nowhere near those specs.

Core i5 with 4GB should run it just fine...

Are you willing to offer me black ops 2 with that rig ?

Don't play black ops! You should play indie games for original design ideas :P

I'm sure whatever you choose will be far better then my 7 yr old PC. C2 runs quite well on it.

You can get the newer G75 version of my laptop for around $1000 depending on where you look. They also have a 15 inch version as well even cheaper
